Strange nothing changes and yet nothing stays the same. The car is roadworthy again, still a problem with the idle and another trip to the garage but ho hum its only money I dont have *sigh*
The kitchen and dining room are finished at last and the house is in some sort of order again, but I like the brightness here now, and feel I want to stay after all. The next project is the garden (my excuse for a natural wilderness which has slow worns and toads in it).
New fencing all the way around so that is 150 feet of fencing, but at least I get to have all my fragrent climbers and white musk roses , and at last I get my sacred space at the bottom of the garden which will include a small waterfall, Arches and a true english old fashined garden. The 9 foot circle is being planned with a fire pit in the middle, and should be ready for Samhein Solstice, we still have the gazzebo just in case of foul weather. Hopefully some kind soul will come along and help me with the veg garden Planning and digging it over ready for planting in the Spring. Its been 4 years being planned and finally is getting done YAY.
Haven't been able to play the harp for a while (its bugging me as i have some 12th century music for the harp to learn) as I have had real problems with my right arm, the cartledge is almost gone in the shoulder and elbow and its painful to do anything at the moment, Another trip to the doc to sort out some pain medication that doesnt contain barbituates, I really can't get used to them as they make me vomit constatly.
The family tree has come to a halt as well! again the right arm problem makes it difficult to do anything.
Have a Hand-fasting to preside over in 10 days time in Oxfordshire I love such a wonderful celebration but I am rather worried about the 100+ guest list. That many people are going to make me nervous (Forget the bride I will be shaking in my bare feet). The couple have asked that we contain in the ceremony the Jumping of the broom and the fasting of the wrists. Its times like these that I love being who I am am being able to arrange a pagan wedding in the old fashioned ways.
Hoping everyone out there in LJ land is Ok keeping my fingers crossed for Kali shey and bobbysan.

Hope you get some joy from the quack - that sounds pretty painful. I have loads of joint probs and find that diet helps. Too much dairy does my joints in and I don't eat meat anyway but with some people I've heard it can be wheat etc... Have you tried eliminating anything to see if it helps?

Yup been through all the testing, the only thing Ihave a problem with is dairy products so stay well away from them. Thing is I have had R/A now for 10 years and its eaten away a lot of the cartlige, we think the R/A has burnt out but still left with Fybro and ME. The doc and I have done the rounds of meds and other therapies, the only thing that worked was celebrex but thats been taken off the market after the vioxx scare so back to square one.
I'll be fine, I'm not a quitter and I will not give up the few things that I still love, stubborn YUP!
Sorry that you have the same kind of joint problems, its a bitch! Maybe we should get together and have a winge about it LOL. I'm in Bristol and often in Wolves or Wales or Hereford for the family research :-)
